Ingredients
Fish:

white fish

black pepper
Batter:

cup
all-purpose flour

baking powder

tsp
salt

cup
cold beer
Frying:
Vegetable oil
Topping:
Lemon wedges
Tartar sauce
Fresh parsley
Instructions
Pat fish dry and cut into portions.
Season fish with salt and pepper.
Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and beer into batter.
Let batter rest briefly.
Heat oil to frying temperature.
Dip fish into batter evenly.
Fry fish until golden and crispy.
Remove and drain excess oil.
Check fish is cooked through.
Serve hot with toppings.

Use cold beer
Maintain oil temperature
