Ingredients
  

  • Dough:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup cold unsalted butter cubed
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • Optional Topping:
  • 2 tbsp coarse sugar
  • Extra cream for brushing

Instructions
 

  • Mix dry ingredients and cut in butter.
  • Add wet ingredients and mix gently.
  • Fold in blueberries and shape dough.
  • Cut into wedges and bake until golden.
  • Cool slightly and serve.

Notes

Use cold butter for flakiness
Do not overmix the dough
Handle blueberries gently
Serve fresh for the best texture
