Thinly sliced beef marinated in a sweet and savory sauce, then quickly cooked until tender and caramelized.

Ingredients
  

  • Beef:
  • 1 pound beef ribeye or sirloin, thinly sliced
  • Marinade:
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • ½ small onion grated
  • ½ apple or pear grated
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Garnish:
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions sliced

Instructions
 

  • Slice beef thinly and prepare marinade.
  • Marinate beef for at least 30 minutes.
  • Cook in a hot pan in batches until caramelized.
  • Garnish and serve.

Notes

Slice the meat thinly for tenderness
Do not overcrowd the pan
Use high heat for caramelization
Marinate longer for a deeper flavor
