Cake:

milk

chopped and toasted
Frosting:
8
oz
cream cheese

unsalted butter

powdered sugar

vanilla extract
Topping:
Extra toasted pecans
Instructions
Preheat oven and prepare cake pans.
Toast pecans until fragrant.
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
Whisk dry ingredients separately.
Combine dry ingredients with milk alternately.
Fold in toasted pecans gently.
Divide batter and bake until done.
Cool cakes and prepare frosting.
Frost cake, add pecans, and serve.
Notes
Toast pecans for the best flavor
Do not overmix the batter
Cool completely before frosting
