Ingredients
  

  • Pie Filling:
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted and slightly cooled
  • cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp cornmeal
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Crust:
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust store-bought or homemade
  • Optional garnish:
  • Powdered sugar
  • Whipped cream

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Whisk butter, sugar, and eggs.
  • Mix in remaining ingredients.
  • Pour into pie crust.
  • Bake until edges set and center slightly jiggles.
  • Cool completely before slicing.
