Best Cheese Fondue Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • For the Fondue:
  • 8 oz Gruyère
  • 8 oz Emmental
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp kirsch
  • Nutmeg pepper

Instructions
 

  • Rub pot with garlic.
  • Warm wine gently.
  • Melt cheese gradually.
  • Stir in cornstarch slurry.
  • Season; serve over flame.
  • Dip and enjoy.

Notes

  • Constant stir = smooth.
  • Low heat prevents stringy.
  • Reheat with milk.
  • Vegan: Cashew base.
  • Double for crowds.
