pre-cooked white cornmeal
masarepa

warm water

butter or oil
optional, for richness
Instructions
Mix cornmeal, salt, and water to form dough.
Rest dough briefly.
Shape into discs.
Cook in skillet until golden on both sides.
Serve hot with toppings or fillings.
Notes
Use masarepa, not regular cornmeal
Rest the dough before shaping
Medium heat works best
Reheat in a skillet for crisp edges
