  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • Topping Optional:
  • Butter
  • Honey

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven and prepare muffin pan.
  • Whisk dry ingredients together.
  • Mix wet ingredients until smooth.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients gently.
  • Fill muffin cups evenly.
  • Bake until golden and set.
  • Check doneness with a toothpick.
  • Cool slightly in the pan.
  • Add butter or honey if desired.
  • Serve warm.
