Best Crockpot Pulled Pork

Slow-cooked pulled pork made tender and flavorful in the crockpot.

Ingredients
  

  • –4 lb pork shoulder pork butt, boneless or bone-in
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Optional: 1 cup barbecue sauce for BBQ pulled pork

Instructions
 

  • Season pork evenly and sear if desired.
  • Add pork and broth to crockpot.
  • Slow cook until fork-tender.
  • Shred and add sauce if using.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

  • Use pork shoulder for the best texture
  • LOW heat gives the juiciest results
  • Add sauce after shredding
  • Freezes exceptionally well
