Ingredients
  

  • Soup Base:
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp ground white pepper
  • ½ tsp salt adjust to taste
  • Thickening:
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Eggs:
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • Garnish:
  • 2 tbsp green onions chopped

Instructions
 

  • Bring chicken broth to a simmer and season it.
  • Mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry and add to soup.
  • Slowly drizzle beaten eggs into the soup while stirring.
  • Simmer briefly and garnish with green onions.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

Pour eggs slowly for delicate ribbons
Do not boil soup after adding eggs
Adjust seasoning to taste
Serve immediately for the best texture
