Ingredients

fresh ginger root
peeled and chopped
1
cup
water
¼
cup
fresh lemon juice
1
–2 tbsp raw honey or maple syrup
to taste
Optional add-ins: turmeric
black pepper, orange juice, cayenne
Instructions
Blend ginger with water.
Strain thoroughly.
Stir in lemon and sweetener.
Chill and serve in small shots.
Notes
Start with small servings
Adjust sweetness to taste
Shake before drinking
