Best Granola Bars

Chewy homemade granola bars made with oats, nut butter, and honey.

Ingredients
  

  • cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • ½ cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • cup honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ cup coconut oil or unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Toast oats (optional).
  • Heat nut butter, honey, and oil until smooth.
  • Stir in oats and mix-ins.
  • Press firmly into pan.
  • Chill, slice, and serve.

Notes

  • Press the mixture firmly
  • Don’t overload with add-ins
  • Chill fully before slicing
  • Easy to customize
