- 1½ lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion diced
- 3 –4 medium potatoes thinly sliced
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Optional: chopped parsley or green onions
Brown beef with onion and season.
Whisk soup and milk.
Layer potatoes, beef, sauce, and cheese.
Cover and bake until potatoes are tender.
Uncover, finish baking, rest, and serve.
- Slice potatoes thinly
- Drain the beef well
- Cover tightly for tender potatoes
