Dough:

Butter Layer:

unsalted butter
cold
Egg Wash:

milk
Instructions
Prepare yeast dough and allow it to rise.
Create a butter block and laminate it into the dough.
Roll and fold the dough multiple times.
Cut into triangles and shape croissants.
Allow to rise, brush with egg wash, and bake until golden.
Notes
Keep butter cold for the best layers
Chill the dough between folds
Do not rush the proofing time
Bake until deeply golden for the best flavour
