Ingredients
  

  • Smokies & Sauce:
  • 2 packages 14–16 oz each Lit’l Smokies (or mini cocktail sausages)
  • cups 360 g barbecue sauce (Sweet Baby Ray’s = classic)
  • 1 cup 320 g grape jelly or apricot preserves
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar optional depth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ –½ tsp cayenne or red pepper flakes adjust heat
  • Optional: 2–4 tbsp bourbon or whiskey

Instructions
 

  • Whisk sauce ingredients in crock pot.
  • Add smokies → stir to coat.
  • LOW 3–4 hours → stir occasionally.
  • Switch to WARM → serve with toothpicks.

Notes

  • Grape jelly + BBQ = iconic sweet glaze
  • Flavor deepens on WARM
  • Freezes beautifully with sauce
  • Day 2 reheated = elite
  • Bourbon or spicy versions = next level
