- Smokies & Sauce:
- 2 packages 14–16 oz each Lit’l Smokies (or mini cocktail sausages)
- 1½ cups 360 g barbecue sauce (Sweet Baby Ray’s = classic)
- 1 cup 320 g grape jelly or apricot preserves
- 2 tbsp brown sugar optional depth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ –½ tsp cayenne or red pepper flakes adjust heat
- Optional: 2–4 tbsp bourbon or whiskey
Whisk sauce ingredients in crock pot.
Add smokies → stir to coat.
LOW 3–4 hours → stir occasionally.
Switch to WARM → serve with toothpicks.
