Pasta:

manicotti shells
Cheese Filling:

ricotta cheese

shredded mozzarella cheese

grated Parmesan cheese

large egg

fresh parsley
chopped

Italian seasoning

salt

black pepper
Sauce:

cups
marinara sauce
Optional Topping:

cup
shredded mozzarella cheese
Extra Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Cook manicotti shells until al dente and drain.
Mix ricotta, cheeses, egg, and seasonings.
Fill shells and place in a baking dish with sauce.
Top with more sauce and cheese.
Bake until bubbly and golden.
Notes
Do not overcook pasta shells
Use enough sauce to keep the pasta moist
Let the dish rest before serving
Use a piping bag for easier filling
