Best No Knead Bread

Rustic artisan no knead bread with a crisp crust and airy crumb.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • tsp salt
  • ½ tsp yeast
  • cups warm water

Instructions
 

  • Mix flour, salt, yeast, and water until shaggy.
  • Cover and rest 12–18 hours.
  • Shape gently and rest 30–45 minutes.
  • Bake in preheated Dutch oven at 450°F, covered 30 minutes.
  • Uncover and bake 10–15 minutes more.
  • Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

  • Wet dough = better crumb
  • Long fermentation builds flavor
  • Always preheat the pot
  • Let the bread cool fully before cutting
