Ingredients
  

  • Pumpkin Bars:
  • 1 cup pumpkin purée not pumpkin pie filling
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp cloves optional
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Cream Cheese Frosting:
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Mix wet ingredients until smooth.
  • Fold in dry ingredients gently.
  • Bake until set and cool completely.
  • Frost, slice, and serve.

Notes

  • Use pure pumpkin purée
  • Cool fully before frosting
  • Don’t overbake
  • Perfect for fall and holidays
