Ingredients
  

  • Dough:
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp red food coloring
  • Filling:
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • tbsp cinnamon
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
  • Topping Cream Cheese Frosting:
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Prepare and knead dough.
  • Let dough rise until doubled.
  • Roll out, add filling, and cut rolls.
  • Let rise again and bake.
  • Frost and serve.

Notes

Allow proper rise time
Do not overbake
Use soft butter for filling
Frost while warm
