Best Salmon Croquettes Recipe

Crispy pan-fried salmon croquettes made with simple ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 6 oz cans salmon, drained and flaked (bones/skin removed if desired)
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup onion finely diced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (optional)
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 –3 tbsp oil for frying
  • Optional: lemon wedges tartar sauce or remoulade

Instructions
 

  • Mix salmon with binders and seasonings.
  • Shape into patties.
  • Pan-fry until golden on both sides.
  • Drain briefly and serve.

Notes

  • Drain salmon well
  • Medium heat works best
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan
  • Serve with lemon and sauce
