No-bake scotcheroos with peanut butter cereal base and chocolate-butterscotch topping.

- Base:
- 6 cups crispy rice cereal
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- Topping:
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
Heat sugar and corn syrup just until bubbling.
Stir in peanut butter until smooth.
Mix with cereal and press into pan.
Melt chocolate and butterscotch, spread on top.
Let set, then slice.
- Do not boil the syrup
- Press lightly for chewy bars
- Cool before slicing
