Best Seafood Pasta Salad

Creamy cold pasta salad with tender seafood and crisp vegetables.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz pasta rotini, shells, or bowtie
  • ½ lb shrimp peeled, deveined, cooked and chopped
  • ½ lb imitation crab meat chopped
  • ½ cup celery finely diced
  • ½ cup red bell pepper finely diced
  • ¼ cup red onion finely diced
  • Dressing:
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional Add-Ins:
  • Fresh dill or parsley
  • Old Bay seasoning
  • Peas or cucumber

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta and cool completely.
  • Prepare and chop seafood.
  • Whisk dressing ingredients.
  • Fold pasta, seafood, and vegetables into dressing.
  • Chill, adjust seasoning, and serve.

Notes

  • Cool the pasta fully before mixing
  • Drain seafood well
  • Chill for the best flavor
  • Stir gently before serving
