- 3 cups cooked turkey diced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups chicken or turkey broth
- ¾ cup milk or half-and-half
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- ½ cup frozen corn optional
- 1 tsp poultry seasoning or dried thyme
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Crust:
- 1 double pie crust homemade or store-bought
- 1 egg beaten (for egg wash, optional)
Make the creamy turkey filling.
