Ingredients

heavy cream

whole milk

granulated sugar

pure vanilla extract
or 1 vanilla bean, scraped
Pinch
of salt
Instructions
Whisk all ingredients until sugar dissolves.
Chill mixture thoroughly.
Churn in ice cream maker.
Freeze until firm.
Scoop and serve.
Notes
Use real vanilla
Chill base well
Don’t over-churn
Press wrap on the surface to prevent ice crystals
