Best Watergate Salad
Classic fluffy green pistachio “salad” with pineapple, marshmallows, and Cool Whip — vintage potluck legend.
Ingredients
- 1 box instant pistachio pudding
- 20 oz crushed pineapple undrained
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 8 oz Cool Whip
- Maraschino cherries optional
Instructions
- Whisk pudding + undrained pineapple.
- Fold in marshmallows, nuts, cherries.
- Gently fold in Cool Whip.
- Chill 2+ hrs → garnish → serve.
