Fried Shrimp:

peeled and deveined (tails off)

buttermilk

all-purpose flour

cornmeal

Vegetable oil
for frying
Slaw:

shredded cabbage or coleslaw mix

cilantro

Creamy Taco Sauce:

mayonnaise

–2 tbsp lime juice

hot sauce

For Serving:

small flour or corn tortillas
Lime wedges
Optional toppings: avocado
pico de gallo, pickled onions
Instructions
Soak shrimp in buttermilk.
Prepare slaw and sauce.
Bread and fry shrimp until golden.
Warm tortillas.
Assemble tacos and serve.
